Just some thoughts for this week

God's Mercies are New Every Morning

God's Mercies are new every morning
	And aren't we glad they are!
For if He gave them by the week
	They wouldn't go as far.

We would use them up, you see,
	Before the week is through
Because we need His mercies
	for what we say and do.

So once again I thank Him
	For His great faithfulness
That, although I don't deserve it,
	He every moment will bless.

Now we start a brand new week
	But it comes one day at a time
And we can make it through that day
	By keeping this thought in mind,

"At the close of each and every day
	Although we have used His mercies every one.
He will have for us His new mercies
	At the rising of the Sun."
