I thought with a smile, “It’s been quite a while
        Since I sat before my computer.
My thought were all jammed, the channel was crammed
        I needed a mental ‘Roto Rooter’

“But what can I say when my thoughts run away
        And nothing seems worth revealing?
What can I write by day or by night
        As I bounce off the walls and ceiling?

Now here is what I say as I start the day
        And would like your spirit to lift,
A thought or a word that needs to be heard,
        What can I give as a gift?

When you looked around and no help there found
        For there was no hope in sight.
When you looked ahead or wished you were dead
        While you knew that that was not right,

Or when you looked behind and no help there did find
        For you had not walked this way before,
Or when you looked down and no help there found
        Because the answer is not inscribed on the floor

Well, there is one more place that will help in life’s
race
        When you stand with an empty cup.
Just lift your view from those around you
        And then take the time to look up!

For help you will find, for your soul or your mind,
        Comes from the One who made you.
Trust in your God as this earth you trod.
        Call on Him as he bade you

He promised to do (especially for you)
        All that you really need.
Just simply ask for that is your task.
        You do not have to plead!

Just rely in your Lord and depend on His word
        For His promises you can always trust.
Take time to pray read God’s word every day
        Faith, at this time, is a MUST.
