Morning Wish

To all of you this Morning
        I send this little word,
May this day you hear a song
        That you have never heard.

That you may see a new thing
        From all of the things you view.
And may you touch some heart
        With kindness that is new.

May the taste of life be sweet,
        And its odor like a forest glade.
For this is the day for you to rejoice,
        A day that the Lord has made.
