Sixty-Seven years ago on this very day
        You experienced a pain that has not gone away
For you brought into this world a tiny, little child
        That was destined to drive most of the people wild!

With two daughters already in your family
        It was time for a son to make your children three
And so it was that he was born, your only little boy
        Who it was should bring to you many hours of joy.

He was such a skinny child who had trouble gaining weight
        Of course that has all changed so on this special date
He has survived his childhood sicknesses and woes
        But he still has our trade mark of those twin toes.

So while in New Jersey we take time to celebrate,
        We must include you two before it is too late
And thank you for being the type of parents who
        Taught us the Bible and it is still so true

That when you train up a child in the way that he should go
        He will make the wise decisions because God's word he'll know
And may the God who made it happen in 1931
        Grant to you this blessing from your only son.
